For nearly three decades, Umesh Chhazzed has focused on building world-class talent and operational capabilities for global organizations. As the Founder and CEO of Anlage Infotech, he has played a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of numerous Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India — helping them scale from modest beginnings to large, high-performing teams through precise talent identification and workforce solutions.

Umesh believes that talent is the most decisive factor for any global enterprise looking to establish and scale in India. Guided by this belief, he has shaped Anlage into an organization where talent sits at the heart of the strategy — surrounded by carefully built capabilities in company formation, real estate solutions, business operations, and compliance. This holistic approach enables Anlage to offer global companies a structured, painless, and dependable pathway to build and grow their GCCs in India with confidence and speed.

Beyond Anlage, Umesh has also ventured into the wellness space as the founder of Plantigo — a plant-based nutrition brand born out of his personal commitment to fitness, well-being, and sustainable living.

He is known for his ability to immerse himself in any corporate function, develop robust processes, and drive operational excellence at scale. Outside of work, he is dedicated to personal growth through trekking, yoga and fitness.

Gaurav Chawla

Chief Operating Officer

Gaurav is a seasoned tech industry leader with 26 years of rich experience across GCCs, Global IT Services, AI-based Products, and Consulting. In the past, he has essayed Region Leadership roles in APAC & India, and Global Business Development roles at firms such as IBM, TCS, ITC Infotech, and Polaris. Gaurav’s global stints encompass working on Wall Street in NYC, and in Toronto, London, and Tokyo. Subsequently, he returned to India to lead GCC businesses of Top-tier IT firms.

His deep expertise in GCCs stems from around 2 decades of experience in the GCC world—where, apart from working for a GCC, he has been instrumental in envisioning, defining, and building the GCC businesses of Top-tier IT Services firms, right from Offerings Creation, Client Acquisition, Delivery Leadership, and Growth Strategy.

Gaurav is a thought leader on diverse topics including Innovation Arbitrage, AI-based Products, GCC Incubation, Outsourcing Strategies, and Future of Work. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA from a Top 10 B-school.

Nitya Kanchan

Senior Vice President

Nitya manages relationships. Across her 20 years (and counting) at Anlage, she has forged strong relationships with clients such as Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, BNYM, and Wells Fargo. She has been a cornerstone of the company's success, progressing from an individual contributor to managing the entire permanent staffing business. Across 28 years of industry experience overseeing large delivery units, with expertise in Business Development, Account Management, and Delivery Management with P&L responsibility, she is known for her high energy and goal-oriented approach, as reflected across SLAs and timelines.

Iram Jafri

Vice President - Business Operations

Whenever we seek expertise in IT Recruitment Strategy, Talent Acquisition and Development, Industry Mapping, Technical Evaluation, Salary Negotiations, and Client Management, Iram is our go-to leader. Leading and managing high-pressure recruitment campaigns, she excels in building and mentoring high-performing teams, optimizing processes, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience. Iram holds a Graduate Degree in Commerce and an MBA in Human Resources.

Kavita Acharya

Vice President - Business Operations

Kavita has worked across various industry verticals and across all levels for the last two decades. Kavita has successfully managed a large team of 80+ recruiters and overseen subcontractors with over 500+ consultants deployed at multiple client locations. Her core areas of expertise include Business Development, Client Relationship Management, Team Management, Extensive Domain Knowledge, and a strong ability to connect with people.

Supriya Singh

Vice President - Business Operations

With over 17 years of rich experience, Supriya is a seasoned professional in the tech industry. She excels in Service Delivery, Client Engagement, Customer Acquisition, and Operational Management. Her planning and executing result-oriented recruitment strategies and deep passion for employee development remains a benchmark for the teams at Anlage. With relevant experience at Accenture and Source One, she manages our top clients in both permanent and contract hiring, securing jobs for over 7,000 employees (and counting).

Toshan Tamhane

Strategic Advisor

Toshan is the Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of Group Management Team (HMT) for UPL Group, the world’s 5th largest agro-chemicals & seeds player. His global mandate covers direct operational responsibility for all of UPL’s businesses across the globe (revenues: USD 6 bn and profits of USD 1bn+). He is also responsible for fund-raising, M&As and investor management of various platforms as well as incubating new businesses for the group. He also leads central functions like analytics, shared services, talent management and governance.

Prior to this, Toshan was a Senior Partner with McKinsey & Company, having worked across 26+ countries during his 18 years at the Firm. While at McKinsey, he held several leadership positions including, CFO India office, Asia Corporate Finance Leader and Member of McKinsey’s Global Committee that elects Partners worldwide.

Toshan was selected as one of India’s ‘40 under 40 high potential leaders’. He is also a successful angel investor focusing on early stage plays - his investee companies have raised USD 500 mn+ capital in follow-on rounds. He was also on the Board of ASK Wealth Management, one of India’s leading wealth management firms.

Toshan is an avid mountaineer/climber, having done several expeditions & technical climbs including Ama Dablam, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Mont Blanc, Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso. He is also a published author with two books under his belt - a book of short stories titled, Death Becomes Her and a self-help guide 24 Hours - That’s all it takes!, which he wrote within 24 hours.

Toshan has done his Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Bombay and P.G.D.M from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He spends his time across London, Dubai and India.

With over three decades of experience in global IT and digital transformation, Mr. Agarwal has held senior leadership roles at Visionet (Global CTO & MD - India), Happiest Minds (EVP & COO), and Mindtree (VP), where he shaped enterprise technology strategies for Fortune 2000 clients worldwide.

An award-winning executive, author of P.R.I.D.E., and TIE Bangalore Chapter Board Member(2025-27), Mr. Agarwal is widely respected for his people-first leadership and deep expertise in IoT, digital ecosystems, and large-scale transformation strategy.

At Anlage, he will play a pivotal role in driving global client acquisition, scaling our lines of business, and powering the next phase of exponential growth. From talent and technology to governance and execution, he will help shape the structures and teams required to grow significantly in size, capability, and global presence.
